New Jersey state Governor Phil Murphy signed an executive order that beckons to athletes: let the games begin! Effective immediately, all indoor sports will be able to resume their seasons as usual — COVID-inspired restrictions included.

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented a plethora of challenges for us all.  For student-athletes, the uncertainty of what lies ahead for the 2020 sports season has been quite crippling.  Particularly for high school students focused on potential athletic scholarships, the limbo presented by the pandemic has been difficult to deal with, to say the least.

However, in an exciting turn of events, Governor Phil Murphy has recently signed an executive order which allows indoor sports to resume activities.  This is major news for athletes in New Jersey!  But, of course, the update will not be without its changes in accordance with the COVID-19 state-mandated restrictions and regulations.
